Volunteer Opportunities

There are many opportunities for volunteers at Archaeology Scotland. You can learn how to deliver archaeological outreach, organise a SAM event, become a YAC Leader or even help out in the office and meet the team. See the Volunteer Task Outlines (VTO) below and find out how you can get involved.

Workshop Assistants work within the Volunteer Outreach Project to deliver archaeology workshops to schools and community groups.

As an Outreach Event Assistant you can help us bring information on the work of Archaeology Scotland to various public learning events such as conferences, fairs and festivals.

Archaeology Scotland occasionally hosts office based placements to assist the Education Department in developing our learning resources. For more information, contact the Outreach Officer

New volunteering opportunities will be available soon!
