Learning Resources

Archaeology Scotland can provide support for your learning activities in the form of loans of artefact investigation kits and equipment for hands-on archaeology activities to support active learning. In addition, there are also downloadable guides to using archaeological skills and quick activity guides which are fun, informal activities introducing the principles of archaeology.

Each of our resources comes with supporting materials and have been divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. These relate to your group's knowledge and experience of archaeology, although even seasoned archaeologists might enjoy some of these activities!
