|Hunter Trust - new website||
Hunter Archaeological and Historical Trust
This Trust, which was established by the late Doreen Hunter in 1975 and is a registered Scottish Charity (SC020451), supports research and investigations into the archaeology and history of Scotland from the end of the Roman period until the end of the Middle Ages, and assists publication on themes within this period.
We have been working on the exciting Stobs Camp project in Hawick in the Scottish Borders. 'For nearly 60 years, thousands of young men used the facilities at Stobs Camp near Hawick in the Scottish Borders to train for war. Now the bleak, windswept hills lie as silent witnesses to all that passed before them'. The website is now live so please take a look and get involved.
