Expert Iron Age Interpreters aim to inform, educate and inspire students about Crannogs and life on the loch 2,500 years ago.

Learners walk in the footsteps of the original Crannog dwellers and are immersed in village life with original artefacts; demonstrations of textiles, cooking and ancient crafts & technologies; paddle into prehistory in one of our replica logboats (weather permitting) and take in the atmosphere inside the Crannog Roundhouse.
An educational visit to the Scottish Crannog Centre is a unique experience enhanced by the sights and smells inside the atmospheric Crannog roundhouse. Students of all ages leave with a greater understanding of how ancient people lived in Scotland.
Hands-on activities mean that students also get a taste of daily life within the ancient Crannog community.
