Younger ones might also enjoy the activities but may need a little help! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exercises include the replication of a \u2018spinning disc\u2019 from the Dordogne region of France dating to around 12,000BC, and the piecing together of a replica Victorian period tile \u2018puzzle\u2019 from an urban excavation. The principle in each case is to provide children with an engaging exercise which allows them to reflect upon the \u2018story\u2019 behind these archaeological objects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
