Get hands on with history!<\/p>\n

\"\"Archaeology Scotland’s\u00a0Industrial Archaeology kit <\/strong><\/a>comes with real and replica artefacts.<\/p>\n

It was created in partnership with the National Mining Museum Scotland.<\/a><\/p>\n

It has four topics, each with its own set of activities and artefacts:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. the earth\u2019s natural resources<\/li>\n
  2. man made materials<\/li>\n
  3. working and living with coal<\/li>\n
  4. and taking it outside \u2013 finding out about Industrial Archaeology in your area.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The kit comes with a Group Leaders’ Guide, information about the artefacts, and has ideas for activities and where to find out more. Because the kit is very versatile, it can be used at all levels, although the support material is primarily aimed at beginners.<\/p>\n
