{"id":3117,"date":"2025-06-30T12:30:32","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T11:30:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.archaeologyscotland.org.uk\/heritage-resources-portal\/?p=3117"},"modified":"2025-12-19T11:27:31","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T11:27:31","slug":"attainment-through-archaeology-at-musselburgh-grammar-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.archaeologyscotland.org.uk\/heritage-resources-portal\/2025\/06\/30\/attainment-through-archaeology-at-musselburgh-grammar-school\/","title":{"rendered":"Attainment through Archaeology with\u00a0Musselburgh Grammar School"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musselburgh Grammar School&#8217;s Attainment through Archaeology (AtA) Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout September and October 2024, 14 S1-3 pupils from Musselburgh Grammar School participated in a 5-workshop Attainment through Archaeology project at Newbattle Abbey, with a celebration event in March 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pupils used research, archaeological methods and interpretation to investigate and engage with a local heritage site, while developing skills, knowledge and sharing their learning.
