The Govan Stones

A visit to the Govan Stones exhibition provides an opportunity for all to learn about a moment in history when Govan was the seat of kings, when pilgrims prayed at the tombs of saints, and when Viking warriors plundered and conquered throughout the islands of Britain.

A range of innovative resources has been created to promote and enhance access and engagement for school groups.

These materials will help your class to get the most out of a visit to Govan Old Church, and can also be used to support history projects in the classroom.
