The preparation for this year’s Scottish Archaeology Month is underway, and we are looking for submissions to the programme.
If you are planning an event, whether it be in-person or online, like a guided walk, dig, an open day, exhibition, lecture, or an online talk, webinar or other digital content, we would like to hear from you!
The deadline for registering events for this year’s programme is 9th August 2024. You can submit your event directly through our website using the registration form or by contacting us at sam@archaeologyscotland.org.uk. If you already know that you would like to participate but don’t have the details planned out yet, please register your interest.
If you run a site or a museum or are involved in a heritage organisation or community project, we would like to feature and promote your work.
This year’s European Heritage Days theme is Routes, Networks and Connections, and we are encouraging event organisers to incorporate it into their events. To get some ideas on how to incorporate this theme into your event, check out the event guidance.
