We are excited to announce that Archaeology Scotland has been shortlisted for the Scottish Power Foundation Awards in the Education Category! This recognises our efforts to promote learning, inclusion, and education equality through our Attainment through Archaeology (AtA) programme.
AtA offers hands-on archaeology experiences, allowing young people across Scotland to connect with history while developing valuable life skills. By engaging in real archaeological activities, participants gain practical skills and a deeper understanding of Scotland’s past.
Being shortlisted is a huge honour, and winning the award would allow us to expand the programme further, offering more young people the chance to gain formal qualifications.
